A large historic farmhouse Casa Passeri has been restored in typical Tuscan style. It is made of natural stone with a colombaia, formerly the dovecot (pigeon tower). The house is 17th century, and parts of it are probably even older (16th century). During the restauration works remains of the cells of a convent were found.

Later on it served as a manor house and belonged to the vineyard of "Aliano" which is at a distance of 1km. The spacious guest apartment of 85 sq.m for 2-4 persons has a big living room with a single bed in a corner and a divan bed, a separate double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

The large kitchen has an open fireplace and a beautiful sitting area on the terrace with a panoramic view.

The apartment is well equipped with a washing machine, gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, re-frigerator and freezer, central heating and telephone (0039-0571-657266)

"Casa Passerie" is 2 kms from the center of the little vine town of Montespertoli with its yearly wine fair. You can do all your shopping there.

The nearest public swimming pool is at Molino del Ponte, Baccaiano, at a distance of abt. 7 kms. Horsebackriding is possible at the village of Cerbaia at a distance of abt. 7 km.

The ceramic factory of the family Passeri is also located at Baccaiano, in Via della Gora 66 (industrial zone), and visitors are welcome!
